Describe what the current page or image shows. If the selection or evidence stage is unclear, mark the note unresolved.

Does a photo prove authenticity?

No. This guide only supports careful visible observations and unresolved questions.

Can listing photos and warehouse photos be compared directly?

Only after confirming they refer to the same intended selection and noting the different evidence stages.

What if the needed detail is not visible?

Mark it not observable and keep the note unresolved.

QC evidence record

Keep selection, image stage, observation, and uncertainty together

A photo note becomes useful when another reviewer can tell which option it covers and why the observation was written. Save the context before comparing shape, color, stitching, labels, dimensions, or packaging.

Source and date

Record the final page URL, where the image was visible, and the date checked. An undated saved image cannot describe the current page by itself.

Exact selection

Copy the visible size, color, version, or option text. Similar product names do not prove that two image sets show the same selection.

Evidence stage

Label listing image, later warehouse photo, or historical reference. Images from different stages can answer different questions.

Visible observation

Name the area shown and the observable condition without inferring hidden material, durability, authenticity, or overall quality.

  • The detail being judged is cropped, blurred, compressed, or not shown.
  • Lighting, angle, or background differences prevent a like-for-like color observation.

  • The note would require an authenticity, material, durability, score, or pass/fail claim that the image cannot establish.
